New and Aspiring Manager Certificate Program
About the Program
The New & Aspiring Manager Certificate is a 12 week, non credit program designed for professionals who are new to management, preparing to step into a leadership role, or seeking to strengthen their foundational people management skills. It is ideal for first time supervisors, team leads, and emerging leaders across industries who want to lead with confidence and intention. Through four progressive phases focused on self awareness, core managerial skills, team leadership, and long term impact, participants build the mindset, habits, and practical skills needed to succeed as effective managers.
The program combines the flexibility of asynchronous weekly modules, which participants can complete on their own time through curated readings, videos, and applied activities, with the connection and accountability of live, virtual weekly classes. This blended learning model allows learners to engage with content at a pace that fits their schedule while benefiting from interactive discussions, real world scenarios, and peer learning during live sessions. Participants leave with practical tools they can immediately apply in their roles and earn a Loyola University New Orleans Certificate of Completion and 6.3 CEUs upon successful completion.
