Registration Information & Policies
Loyola Office of Professional and Continuing Studies (PACS)
Online and in-person courses are available to our adult learners. Most of our in-person courses are offered on Loyola's Uptown campus. Non-credit courses will offer a CEU certificate upon successful program completion. For further questions about certifications, please review the course description or contact the PACS office. Students are encouraged to check with their organization in advance to ensure the material and certificate offered will satisfy certification or regulatory compliance.
Registration is available online. You are always welcome to call us directly at 504-865-3530 or email PACS@loyno.edu. Prior to enrolling in a continuing education course, please review all registration information.
Tuition and deadlines vary by program. Tuition must be paid in full by the deadline.
- Students may apply for a private tuition loan funded by Sallie Mae to cover tuition costs (see below for more information).
- Select programs offer a payment plan through our partner, Nelnet Campus Commerce.
- If a student selects the payment plan option at registration, an email will be sent to the student with instructions on how to enroll into the payment plan.
- Students are not considered registered into a program until the Office of Professional and Continuing Studies receives notification of enrollment into the Nelnet Campus Commerce payment plan.
Payment may be made by credit card (VISA or MC) or by check made payable to:

Upon successful completion, Loyola University New Orleans Certificates of Completion with Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded to eligible students.
Continuing Education Units, or CEUs, are a nationally recognized standard for documenting successful completion of non-credit programs and courses intended to improve the knowledge and skills of working adults. One CEU equals ten contact hours of participation in organized continuing education classes and/or training conducted by a qualified institution/instructor.
Certificates will be emailed to students who are registered in an eligible program and/or course. If the student would like to have the certificate mailed to a physical address, the student must submit a request by emailing PACS@loyno.edu. There is a $15 fee to have the certificate printed and mailed. The fee is for 1 certificate per program and/or course enrolled. A payment link will be provided for these requests.
By registering for a PACS course or program, students are agreeing to all the policies and procedures of Loyola University New Orleans.
Course and program withdrawals must be in writing and sent via email to PACS@loyno.edu.
A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for all course cancellations.
The remaining balance will be refunded if you withdraw from a course or program ten (10) or more business days prior to the course start date.
No refunds will be granted for any enrolled course or program if PACS does not receive a withdrawal notification at least ten (10) business days prior to the start of the course.
If you are on a payment plan, all refund polices apply and any initial deposit and enrollment fees are non-refundable.
If you have applied for a Sallie Mae Career Training Smart Loan, Loyola University's refund policies apply. Please discuss payment reimbursement options with your Sallie Mae representative.
