Bio
Dr. Courtney Jackson-McCray, DHA is an AAPC Approved Instructor, Certified Professional Coder (CPC) since 2007, Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), Certified Value-Based Administrator (CVBA), and a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR). Some of her job roles included Director of Physician Coding, Manager of Coding and Clinical Documentation, Risk Adjustment Business Consultant, High-Risk Disease Detection Manager, Risk Adjustment Coder, Coding Educator II, Medical Biller, and Certified Nursing Assistant. She has worked for Medicare Advantage Payers, physicians’ offices, Urgent Care centers, and private practices. Dr. Jackson-McCray has taught coding courses and helped others successfully pass their AAPC CPC certification exam. Medical coding is her passion, and she loves what she does! With over 20 years in healthcare, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise through teaching to help others succeed in their career.
