Bio
Randy is a native of St. Louis, MO., where he began his Louisiana studies in high school (New Orleans being St. Louis’s mother city). He first came to New Orleans in 1984 to research his grandfather, who was born here, and found his spiritual home. He gave his first tour in 1988 and began formal training as a tour guide in 1994 under the tutelage of Richard Rochester, founder of Magic Tours, the first haunted tour company in town. Since then, he has served on the board of the Tour Guide Association of Greater New Orleans, INC (TGAGNOI) as President, 1st Vice President and Standards & Education chairman. He has taught Professional Tour Guiding 1, Professional Tour Guiding 2 and the History of The French Quarter at Delgado Community College and is a three-time recipient of the Global Guide Award from TourHQ. Although retired from commercial walking tours, Randy still gives city tours as a step on guide and probably always will as long as he can crawl up onto a motorcoach.
Randy Bibb has been an instructor for the Office of Professional and Continuing Studies since 2026.
