Loyola Office of Professional and Continuing Studies (PACS)
Online and in-person courses are available to our adult learners. Most of our on-ground courses are offered on Loyola's Uptown campus. Non-credit courses will offer a CEU certificate upon successful program completion. For further questions about certifications, please review the course description or contact the PACS office. Students are encouraged to check with their organization in advance to ensure the material and certificate offered will satisfy certification or regulatory compliance.
Registration is available online. You are always welcome to call us directly at 504-865-3530 or email PACS@loyno.edu. Prior to enrolling in a continuing education course, please review all registration information.
Tuition and deadlines vary by program. Tuition must be paid in full by the deadline or students may apply for a private tuition loan funded by Sallie Mae.

Sallie Mae Career Training Smart Loans
Sallie Mae provides loans to qualifying students for professional training and certificate courses.
Student, Alumni and Veteran Discounts:
Current students enrolled at Loyola University New Orleans or alumni are eligible for tuition discounts on most courses and programs. Please call us at 504-865-3530 or email PACS@loyno.edu for details and discount codes.
By registering for our classes, you are agreeing to all the policies of Loyola University New Orleans.
Course withdrawals must be in writing and sent via email to PACS@loyno.edu
A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for all course cancellations.
The remaining balance will be refunded if you withdraw from an on-campus course five or more business days prior the course start (Please note that Velociteach courses have a separate refund policy.).
If you withdraw within five business days following the on- campus course start, a partial refund may be granted upon department approval. Please request and submit a withdrawal form to PACS@loyno.edu for review.
No refunds will be granted for on-campus courses if PACS does not receive a withdrawal notification within one week of the start of the course.
If you are on a payment plan, all refund polices apply and any initial deposit and enrollment fees are non-refundable.
If you have applied for a loan, Loyola Universities refund policies apply. Please discuss payment reimbursement options with your Sallie Mae representative.
Partner On-Line Courses and Certificate Programs
For online courses with our education partners, you may request a refund up to 5 days from the purchase date. The registration fee will only be refunded if less than 10% of the course has been completed.
Class Cancellation/Changes to Course
Loyola University’s Office of Professional and Continuing Studies reserves the right to substitute instructors, change the day or time a program meets, or cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen events.
If a course is cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice, you will receive an email notifying you of the cancellation. Less than 24 hours’ notice, you will receive an email and a phone call.
Any payments that you have made including the enrollment fee will be refunded to you in full.
