Avid Pro Tools Bootcamp
Classes will begin June 28, 2021 - July 2, 2021!
This course will prepare you to take the certification exam for Avid Certified User for Pro Tools, which provides an industry-recognized credential for both academic users and industry professionals in digital audio production. This hands-on, intensive boot camp will combine two certification-prep courses: Pro Tools Fundamentals I (PT101) and Pro Tools Fundamentals II (PT110).
Becoming an Avid Certified User for Pro Tools verifies that you possess a fundamental understanding of and the capability to use Avid Pro Tools to engineer a project through to completion, with all of the fundamental operational skills to record, edit, mix and output the finished session.
The certification exam will be given in class at the end of the course.
The computer lab is equipped with Mac Computers with Pro Tools installed. Students should bring headphones, and a portable hard drive or thumb drive.
